There are positive emotions and negative emotions.
In the book by Napolean Hill, “Think and Grow Rich,” Mr. Hill talks about how your impulses are affected by positive and negative emotions.
Use your positive emotions to feed your creative effort.
Negative emotions will affect you, well, negatively.
Mr. Hill states that, “Positive and negative emotions cannot occupy the mind at the same time.”
We must form habits to apply and use positive emotions so that there is not room for negative emotions to occupy our mind.

We are faced with many challenges every day.
Each challenge offers YOU the opportunity to make a choice. You are able to choose how to proceed, who to include, who to exclude, etc
Really examining what you have to offer and what those around you have to offer provides the opportunity to see the value in yourself and the value in others.
This leads me to the RISE acronym:

In today’s society of being too busy, many things can be thrown your way at once.
Multitasking is coveted while prioritization may be lacking. This can cause nothing to be completed well.
It can also cause you to lose your way, your path, your purpose in life.
To tackle this, I have broken down focus into 5 sections: Find, Original, Creative, Unique and Solutions. It is an easy way to remember how to FOCUS on what is important.

I ask you, if you are seldom refreshed and energized, how can you be your best for others?
Life happens. We get caught up with deadlines and expectations. We are often pulled by the busyness of life. It seems society teaches us that if we are not always busy, we must not be successful.
I disagree. If you are not resting and revitalizing yourself, you cannot be successful.
Often times when we are on a mission of change or meeting demands, we just persevere no matter what our body tells us. This can be very detrimental to our health.
